ABOUT THE PROJECT

In 2016, after years of growing and producing great inspiring work, we decided the Wix studio was ready to play the major league - going on an international conference.

Our sights were set on the OFFF festival in Barcelona, as some of the designers from the studio attended in previous years and reported back how great it was.

We got in touch with the conference producers, and we were quickly on board as one of the sponsors. The partnership included two main activities we had to come up with a content strategy for - a booth in the venue where we can interact with the conference visitors, and a talk we were scheduled to give, that will present the studio.  

THE BOOTH

For the booth we decided to create a place for people to come talk to us, get live demos on our product from Wix designers and have a nice souvenir - a cool temporary tattoo.

THE PRESENTATION

Our talk was to be presented by three studio representatives - Hagit, studio manager, Andrew - UI expert, and myself. Each of us revealed a different side of what it’s like to be part of the Wix studio.

My part of the talk was dedicated to the freedom granted to us in Wix. Being able to explore our own projects and interests, and how those self initiated briefs can sometimes become the company’s most valuable assets. You can watch my part of the talk below.
